What is dropshipping?

Dropshipping is a method of selling items and only paying for them once they have been sold. It holds massive advantages over other distribution methods, such as you don't pay for unsold stock or have to deliver the products yourself.

 

How does it work?

Dropshipping works as simply as this

 1 - You select what you want to sell from the dropshippers catalogue/website

 2 - List this item on eBay or elsewhere using the dropshippers product photos (they may also provide a full description)

 3 - When it sells order the product from the dropshipper. They will then send it directly to your customer (with NO reference to there company). Your customer will think it came directly from you. 

 4 - You profit the difference between the buying and selling price.

 

Do I have to pay to use a dropshipper?

Some dropshippers require you to join as a member. This stops non-traders joining just to order one or two items at the discounted rates & protects the members. At least one dropshipper refunds the membership fee, by crediting there membership fee with the same amount.
